Paper Art can be traced back to Japan where it originated over a thousand years ago. We may live in a digital world, but our love affair with paper has by no means diminished. From complex paper cutting to book carving, this is an ever expanding area of design.
A lifetime ago in College I did this photo project using cut up pieces of Paper as Art. Here is my take on art being used imaginatively within contemporary designs bringing paper out of it’s comfort zone being used as a creative outlet rather than just a means of delivery.

My name is Lisa and I am just simply a girl who is in love with photography. Now, I in no way claim to be the best photographer, I don’t claim to even be that great at photography, it’s just something that I find relaxing and comforting. This site is dedicated to sharing my work as well as a few tips and tricks that I picked up along the way. I enjoy a wide range of photographic styles but these days I am focused mostly on landscape and stock photography so you will see a mixture of that on here and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
