Smoke Bomb Photography

Why would anyone want to use smoke bombs for photography you ask? Well I for one will try just about any type of photography if I can and I love the colors and haze that surrounds my model with smoke bombs.  I think it’s pretty cool and adds life to a session. You will definitely need an assistant, a few smoke bombs, a small pot to put it in, and a lighter (if it’s not the wire pull ones). This session was done at dusk in a secluded area of the woods because smoke bombs are stinky and lucky for us it wasn’t windy!

  4. Wow, that’s pretty cool. Doesn’t the smoke bother the model (and you)? I imagine I’d ruin the shoot by sneezing incessantly 😀

Thanks Nicholas But the smoke only lasts a few seconds and it wasn’t around the face for the most part.
